Our most recent investment a waterless Presstek 52DI (Digital Imaging) press that has opened up the market for short run high quality 4 colour work. The 52DI is a highly automated 52cm landscape sheetfed four-colour digital offset printing press that combines the efficiency of an all dig-digital workflow with the versatility and quality of conventional four-colour offset. The 52DI removes the expense and labour associated with a chemical based workflow. There is no more processor maintenance and printing without fount solutions is environmentaly cleaner.

Quality

The 52DI provides high definition output that exceeds that of conventional offset presses and toner-based printers, it can print 300 lpi screen without incuring additional expense or time. The 52DI is designed to deliver precise first sheet registration. Unlike conventional presses where registration is challenged by the tower-to-tower transfer of paper, the 52DI achieves precise registration with Presstek's unique Zero Transfer Printing (ZTP) process - all four colours are laid down onto the sheet without any sheet transfer between grippers.
